Department of Information Technology, RIT, Rajaramnagar successfully organized an international conference on Advancement in Technology (ICONAT 2022) on 21st and 22nd Jan 2022. The conference was technically co-sponsored by IEEE Bombay Section.

For the conference, we had Hon. Dr. Gopal Mugeraya Director NIT, Goa as Guest of Honour and Dr. Vievek Kamat Director DTE, Government of Goa as the Chief Guest. Dr. Kashif Nisar, Faculty of Computing and Informatics University Malaysia Sabah and Dr. Hussain Mahdi from Diyala University, Iraq took keynote sessions in the IoT and Artificial Intelligence domain.

1046 research papers were submitted from 23 different countries namely China, Japan, Indonesia, Myanmar, Iran, Iraq, Bangladesh, Srilanka. After the peer reviews process 327 papers were accepted and presented in virtual mode. The conference was coordinated by Prof. Mohsin N. Mulla & Dr. Amol C. Adamuthe under the valuable guidance of Head of Department Dr. Sandip A. Thorat, Dean Academics Dr. S. K. Patil and Director of the Institute Dr. Mrs. Sushma Kulkarni. Hon. Principle Dr. R. D. Sawant Secretary Kasegaon Education Society congratulated the participants and department.
